Bird Nest

I found this bird's nest on the ground on my way to class. It made me think that either. 1. the bird left on its own will, or 2. the bird was pushed out on purpose. by the wind or by people. there were no signs of life left in the nest so, i think the birds left on their own. but its hard to know since i don't get the bird gossip.
