Today I went to the comcast building with my mentor. It was cool although i kind of have a headache now. I talked to a bunch of adults and i was supposed to come with questions about like oh what skills should i have on my resume or like more technical stuff i guess but i ended up asking everybody about how they got their job and if they liked what they were doing i am going to try to remember the best i can while i am watching family guy and writing this and waiting for ryan to show up

first i talked to A. who was a grad from the school that i'm going to and we related because his boyfriend was going to music business school at that fake college fulsail university. He said he always wanted to go into tech. he was young and easy to talk to. he said that being yourself is the most important thing and being genuine is the most important thing to remember when you interview.

then i talked to G. G. told me that cable ain't shit. which like... means that things don't really matter that much. he says he doesn't live with regret. he says that he only lives once so he lives every day like its his last. G. is also a musician like me. he is a drummer in 5 or so bands. he went to school for marketing but then hated it and ended up as a business admin major or something like that. he did vet tech stuff too but working with doctors sucked. aparently the corperate tech industry is a lot friendlier than doctors and people. He wished me good luck.
